Kayla Jeffries wrote the first draft of Wiley: The Adventures of a Wacky Water Droplet as a child for an assignment on evaporation. The more she researched, the more she became interested in the beauty that water and the water cycle brings to everything—an interest that followed her throughout her childhood and into adulthood. When she was in college, she was inspired to rewrite Wiley during a project on plastic pollution in the oceans. She wanted to help educate children about the water cycle and modern-day environmental impacts.
Wiley: The Adventures of a Wacky Water Droplet - Evaporation is Kayla’s first book and part of a series she is writing about environmental issues.
